M & M News...
August 2009 - Business opportunities have continued to surface. M & M has been experiencing steady growth over the last two months and has once again started hiring for open positions. Several new contract negotiations are due to conclude over the next 2-4 weeks giving way to substantial increases in personnel. We would like to offer a special thank you to all who are looking to become supplier partners with us in our endeavors to grow our business and the Tulsa economy exponentially.
May 6, 2009 - M & M has the first layoff in company history. We regret that this had to happen especially in light of the tremendous start to the year that we had, but the work load for the second quarter was just not there to support as many people as we had. We want to thank those of you who unfortunately lost your employment with us, for your help and your service. We wish you the best during these economic down times and hope that you are able to find employment soon.
May 1, 2009 - Akdar Shrine Temple unloads 120,000 pounds of Sweet Vidalia Onions at M & M facility. Ken and Carl Statton are Shriners and offer up the use of the loading docks and available floor space for loading out onions as the different units come by....this worked out really well and RAIN!!!! boy did it RAIN!!!!! We want to thank the shrine for allowing us the chance to do something to help and thank the Team Members of M & M for their dedication to making the whole process a success.
April 30, 2009 - Dexter Bolin is the first person to officially retire from M & M Manufacturing. Dexter has been with us just under a year, but has been an asset beyond description. Dexter came to us after retiring from a 24 year commitment to American Airlines. Now, he is ready to take it easy for real... Steak, Cake and gifts...not a bad way to go. Dexter was kind enough to let the record revenue celebration and his retirement dinner coincide with one another....this made for a great afternoon all the way around!
April 2009 - Record 1st Quarter Revenue!!! M & M has its first ever $1 million (+) dollar quarter. We celebrated our 1st Qtr success with a Steak lunch. We grilled 50 Rib-eyes and served all the fixings. Thank you to the dedicated crew here at M & M for your continued service.
January 22, 2009 - M & M hosts TAMA meeting & Tour.
December 2008 - M & M achieves Quality System approval from Spirit Aerosystems and becomes a certified supplier for Tulsa and Wichita Divisions...
November 2008 - M & M acquires 45,000 square feet. Moves to NEW facility...
August 2008 - M & M signs contract with State of OK for Quality Jobs Program
July 2008 - Tulsa Technology Center recognizes M & M for Education Excellence
